Fee –Fi-Fo-Fum …… what a fantastic day we had! The children wrote wonderful stories, created super art work and designed and made delicious gingerbread people.
As part of our work as a Rights Respecting School we celebrated 30 years of the UNICEF Convention on the Rights of the Child by holding an art exhibition in the school. Each exhibit was linked to some of the rights.
Squirrels was focused on article 31 - the right to play
Otters article 6 - the right to life
Foxes article 24 - the right to the best possible health
Badgers article 12 - the right for respect of the views of the child.
All the displays were created by the children and the Rights Respecting Steering Group curated the exhibition under the guidance of Mrs. Bottle. Lightening was provided by Henry P.
Squirrels Super Heroes day!
Wow- what an amazing collection of Super Heroes in Conker Lodge this week! Not only did they look fantastic, but they used their super powers to excellent effect, rescuing Squiggle and saving the world! All this to inspire and excite the children to write, read and use their imaginations!
Koala Day

This week the Otters built some houses and tested them to see if they would withstand a wolf breath test! Here are some pictures of the creations…
Some of Foxes Class went to Wallop school to take part in a cluster event on Monday. The children took part in “friendly” games of tag rugby against the other cluster schools. The children worked well as team both tactically and collaboratively and Miss Lee was very proud of them all.
