Our Learning Environment
In Squirrels classroom we try to create an environment which is rich and varied that supports children's learning and development. It gives the child the confidence to explore and learn in secure and safe, yet challenging, indoor and outdoor spaces. In the photos below you will see our areas of continuous provision and also the enhancements we use to excite and stimulate our children. Often we will put out resources for the children to encourage their curiosity and give them the opportunity to explore and re-use the resources in a variety of ways. Within these areas we will often target specific next steps of learning that we would like the children to practise or explore freely.
