Our Class Charter
Our Class Charter:
This year we have created our own class charter which we have all signed up to using a hand print and writing our own name on. It includes the UNICEF convention on the Rights of the Child. We have talked about the importance of being a class member and their role within the class.
The rights we will be learning about appear in our school kite and the board supports our school rules: Ready Respectful and Safe.
This term we have focussed on the right to be healthy (article 24), using the toilet, washing hands, exercising, sleeping and eating well. We made our own apple crumble after harvesting the fruit from our local orchard. We chopped the fruit, mixed the crumble and ate the crumble for snack.
