FOBS
FOBS - Friends of Broughton School
FOBS is not just a parents' association (now more commonly known as a Home School Association), but is open to anyone interested in supporting the school and its work. The group provides the link between the school, the village and surrounding area that it serves.
FOBS provides a social environment for introducing new parents to the school and helps to foster community spirit both within the school and within its catchment area.
The Committee is elected at the AGM held at the beginning of the school year and consists of a mix of parents, teachers and, if possible, representatives of the village community.
Recent projects have included funding the outdoor classroom. Events organised by FOBS include the traditional Summer fete, Easter egg hunt, end of year barbeque and cake sales.
