• Sunshine Fun

  We have made the most of this afternoons sunshine, with the whole school outside enjoying the fresh air.  We ran a round robin of events with the older children leading groups.  It has lifted our spirits and we have seen some lovely supportive behaviours between the children.

  Outdoor Classroom Day – Thursday 12^th March

  We all had a brilliant day and I hope the children told you all about it! The range of activities offered was extensive.  We would like to thank the following people for organising and running the activities:

   

  Mr. Elsey (cooking), Mrs. Snela (Polish games and art), Mmes Hyson and Hyson (Bug hunt and classification), Mr. Drake (cat drawings, art), Mrs. Cobley (leaf investigation), Mr. Eaton (money management) and Mr. Adams (cycling)

  

• Abbess - Johanna Gurneys

  Romsey Abbey are celebrating their 900th birthday this year. As part of the celebrations, our school got involved in the creation of a collaborative exhibition of the abbesses of Romsey Abbey.  We were assigned the abbess Johanna Gurneys (1349-1352).

  A brilliant effort as always for World Book Day.  The children looked amazing and thoroughly enjoyed the activities during the day.
