The information below gives details of admission arrangements for the school. As a County school, we follow the standard Hampshire admissions policy for its schools.
Our school official intake number for Year R is 12 pupils. However, we can sometimes flexible on this number.
We do have admissions limits in place in each year group.
If you are outside our official catchment area, it is still likely that we may be able to offer you a school place. Please contact the school in the first instance to check for availability and to arrange a look round.
Choosing a school for your child is an important step in their development which we know is essential to get right. We would love to welcome you for a tour of our school. This is a wonderful way to meet the team and get a feeling for the ethos and values of the school, which are so important.

To book a visit, please contact the school office - 01794 301286 or via email: adminoffice@broughton.hants.sch.uk

In Year Applications
If your child attends another primary school and would like to come to Broughton Primary immediately, you can apply to join our school in two ways:
You can apply to us directly. We will send you, upon request, an application form via in-person collection, email or post. We ask you to return it directly to us, and we can confirm your place almost immediately. The start date can be as early as the next working day.
Alternatively you can also contact your Local Authority Admissions Team directly and use this link to apply for an 'In Year Admission’.
Once you have made the application you will be notified of the outcome within 10 school days. You have the right of appeal to an independent appeal panel against the refusal of a place at this school. If you would like to appeal, please visit www.hants.gov.uk/educationandlearning/admissions/guidance/appeals to complete the online appeal form or contact the County Admissions Team on 0300 555 1377 to request an appeal pack by post.
For both application types, we warmly welcome you to visit the school, to see us in action and experience our learning environment. Our Executive Head, Mrs Lucy Macey, would be pleased to show you around.
