Pupils from Broughton Primary School raised £100 for their twinned school, Kajwenge School in Uganda. At a special assembly Mrs. Sally Josling from Education Uganda gratefully received the cheque to carry on with the organisation’s work supporting children’s schooling. The money raised will be used to provide chalk for the Ugandan children to write on their individual blackboards. Education Uganda is one of three charities the school is donating to after last year's fundraising efforts which included a penalty shoot-out competition, sponsored read, sandpit scuplting and long distance running.
